About the event
Nothing says the holidays like the aroma of freshly baked goodness wafting through the house! Give your child the gift of baking know-how through a special, one-time-only event. This drop-off class is an extended, three-hour session designed for kids ages 7-14.
In this interactive session, Chef Abigail Lucas will expertly teach kids how to make cobbler from scratch, including prepping fresh fruit fillings and crafting a buttery, golden-brown biscuit topping. They'll explore foundational baking techniques like measuring, mixing, rolling and decorating. Not to mention learning how to safely handle baking tools and kitchen equipment.
Each young chef will get to take home a sample of each of the three cobblers created in class: apple, tri-berry and peach. The best part is that your child -- with recipe in hand -- will be able to impress and delight your family during the end-of-year holiday season by baking their own cobbler for everyone to enjoy!
