The cheesiest thing you can do on a Friday night is take this signature class from Chef Janon! We will make three cheeses – mozzarella, mascarpone, and crumbled goat – before creating four luscious courses that we dine on together.

With this menu, you'll also gain some tricks and techniques for better knife skills to use at home. Great for date night, individuals or parent and son/daughter (min. age 15). Learn in a working commercial kitchen that hosts some of the top chefs in Colorado Springs. This event is BYOB (beer or wine, no liquor), including your own glasses and openers.
About the Chef
Chef Janon Bourgeois graduated from the Oregon Culinary Institute with honors in 2012. While living abroad in England, Portugal and France (and more), she honed her appetite for life as a culinary teacher. Chef Janon's career includes running a successful catering company, training as a professional butcher and being a passionate protector of Mother Earth and feeder of humankind at her Portland, Oregon-area restaurant, Simmer Down Cafe. Her "why" is on every plate. Her goal is to nourish members of the Colorado Springs community, and demonstrate how they can nourish themselves. In her spare time Chef Janon hikes, reads tarot cards and dotes on her teenage son.
