In this immersive culinary adventure, 48 high school students will work in teams of three to create an incredible Greek and Italian-inspired feast from scratch while learning real-world kitchen skills used by professional chefs.

The experience begins with a selection of Mediterranean small bites, including classic bruschetta topped with fresh tomatoes and herbs, crispy mozzarella-filled arancini, and two varieties of homemade hummus—garlic and Kalamata olive—served alongside fresh seasonal crudités. Along the way, students will practice knife skills, ingredient preparation, flavor balancing, and creative presentation techniques.

Next, students will prepare two fresh salads: a traditional Greek salad with homemade lemon vinaigrette and a classic Caesar salad finished with perfectly poached shrimp. These dishes provide an opportunity to learn foundational culinary techniques while exploring the flavors and ingredients that define Mediterranean cuisine.
