About the event
Students will embark on a delicious European adventure right here at the leading commercial kitchen in Colorado Springs! In this four-day, dine-in lunch series, our young guests from The Colorado Springs School will explore the vibrant flavors, traditions, and techniques that make European cuisine world-renowned. Guided by Executive Chef Abigail Lucas, students will learn hands-on skills while preparing and enjoying authentic dishes from France, Italy, Greece and Germany.
Each day highlights a different culture’s signature ingredients, family recipes and culinary artistry (see menu below).
Students will not only cook, taste and enjoy their creations together but also gain insight into the national stories behind each cuisine. This hands-on educational series is a celebration of food, teamwork and European flavor!
