This special kids' class features one of Chef Kira Isbell's signature baked goods: a homemade, oversized version of Pop Tarts. In tandem with one parent or guardian, students will learn to prepare the dough and delicious fruit filling, before assembling their creations and inserting them in the oven. Once the breakfast treats have baked and cooled, our little chefs will decorate in their own special way with colorful frosting and sprinkles. Even Jerry Seinfeld would be proud. Class is geared toward children ages 4-13.

About the Chef

Kira Isbell (Blue Sunflour Bakeshop) is a self-taught baker who grew up in the kitchen alongside her mother. Together they created cookies, bread, cakes and all sorts of deliciously sweet things. Kira’s love for baking continued into adulthood and she eventually turned it into a successful small business, Blue Sunflour Bakeshop. As a local entrepreneur she enjoys baking for people in her community through individual sales as well as partnerships with storefronts like Story Coffee, Bread & Butter Market and Cafe Leo.
